SV Microwave Releases RF Cable Assemblies with a Strain Relief Boot for T&M Applications

SV Microwave has released a new line of RF cable assemblies for reliable test & measurement applications. The cable assemblies feature a strain relief boot to protect the sensitive cable termination area. This enhances usage in applications that require precise measurements, allowing more flexibility and easy integration into test equipment, without causing much concern for errors due to faulty cables during tests.

The strain relief cable assemblies could be used for applications that operate at frequencies from DC to 65 GHz. They are available in multiple configurations having various connector options such as 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm, 1.85 mm and male SMA connectors. The products have passed MIL-STD-202 tests against environmental variables such as shock, vibration, temperature, moisture and altitude. It has corrosion resistance according to MIL-STD-202 standards and was tested in lab simulating coastal atmosphere by spraying fine mist of salt solution in a regulated chamber for a certain period of time.
