Modelithics, an industry leader for high-accuracy RF and microwave active & passive simulation models for use in EDA tools announced that version 21.2 of the Modelithics COMPLETE Library for Keysight PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys) is now available and is compatibile with Genesys 2022.
Version 21.2 adds 36 new models to the Modelithics COMPLETE Library for Keysight Genesys. Among them are Microwave Global Models for capacitors from AMOTECH, Kyocera-AVX, and TDK. Also added are Microwave Global Models for inductors from Coilcraft and Taiyo Yuden. Other new models include Microwave Global Models for resistors from KOA, Samsung, Yageo, and Vishay. Finally, version 21.2 adds models for packages from Barry Industries and a model for an amplifier from MACOM.
The Modelithics COMPLETE Library includes over 360 Microwave Global Models for capacitor, inductor, and resistor part series. These highly scalable models can be used together with the Vendor Parts Synthesis (VPS) feature within Genesys to help streamline design flows. The COMPLETE Library also contains nonlinear models for diodes and transistors of various types from different manufacturers.
Models for higher-level passive and active system components like amplifiers, attenuators, filters, couplers, and packages are also included. These system-level models are validated to frequencies as high as 40 GHz and are also available separately in the newly available System Components Library for Keysight PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys) as well as Keysight PathWave System Design (SystemVue) and Keysight PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS). The COMPLETE Library also contains an assortment of S-parameter data models for components not represented by scalable or nonlinear models.
