HASCO Expands its Line of Multi-Octave Mixers from 2 to 24 GHz

HASCO, a veteran-owned company that specializes in stocking an extensive selection of RF and Microwave Coaxial Connectors, In-Series and Between Series RF Adapters, Cable Assemblies, Attenuators, Terminators, Passive Components and builds Custom cable assemblies, has expanded its portfolio of Multi-Octave Mixers. The Multi-Octave Mixers offer an ultra-wideband matching structure with a quad-matched monolithic Schottky barrier diode, resulting in a broad band mixer with low conversion loss and spurious response. It consists of planar construction that allows optimum phase and amplitude matching with tracking capabilities over a wide frequency range.

They can also be used for bi-phase and pulse modulation where the carrier signal is fed into the LO and the modulated signal will appear at the RF port when a signal is fed into the IF port. The phase of the output signal will shift to 180 degrees when a reversal of polarity occurs. The current into the IF port is limited to 25 mA.

The Multi-Octave Mixer Series

  • HM3001 - Multi-Octave Mixer SMA Female (4 to 20 GHz)
  • HM3005 - Multi-Octave Mixer SMA Female (5.5 to 24 GHz)
  • HM3006 - Triple Balanced Multi-Octave Mixer SMA Female (2 to 24 GHz)
  • HM3014 - Multi-Octave Mixer SMA Female (2 to 18 GHz)

They are available in packaged and MMIC designs and ready to be shipped.
