JFW Industries has added four new models of conduction-cooled (aka bolt down) 50 Ohm terminations to their offering. These terminations have flanged enclosures with 4 mounting holes so they can be bolted down to a cooling plate or heatsink. The terminations are available with SMA or N-type connectors.
The four New 50 Ohm Terminations Include:
- Model 50T-686: The Model 50T-686 is an RF Termination that operates from DC to 3 GHz. It can handle an average input power of 100 W, a peak input power of 1000 W (1-microsecond pulse) and has a VSWR of less than 1.15:1. This termination has an operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C, is conduction-cooled and must be mounted to a heatsink or cooling plate. It is available in a module that measures 2.36 x 2.00 x 1.06 inches with N-type or SMA connectors.
- Model 50T-687: The Model 50T-687 is a 50-ohm bolt-down termination. It operates from DC to 6 GHz and is rated for 100 W average RF input power. This unit is conduction cooled and must be mounted to a heatsink or cooling plate. It is rated for full input power up to +100°C case temperature. It is available with N-type or SMA connectors.
- Model 50T-688: The Model 50T-688 is a 50-ohm bolt-down termination. It operates DC to 3 GHz and is rated for 200 W average RF input power. This unit is conduction cooled and must be mounted to a heatsink or cooling plate. It is rated for full input power up to +100°C case temperature. It is available with N-type or SMA connectors.
- Model 50T-689: The Model 50T-689 is a 50-ohm bolt-down termination. It operates DC to 6 GHz and is rated for 200 W average RF input power. This unit is conduction cooled and must be mounted to a heatsink or cooling plate. It is rated for full input power up to +100°C case temperature. It is available with N-type or SMA connectors.
