At the EMC Shanghai 2023 event from August 9–11, Aaronia AG showcased its latest USB real-time spectrum analyzer, SPECTRAN. This extremely fast, flexible, and compact solution developed by Aaronia emphasized the importance of real-time spectrum analyzers to more than 5,000 tradeshow visitors in Shanghai.
At the event, Aaronia exhibited two of its latest spectrum analyzer models. The first was the SPECTRAN V6 XPLORER that has a frequency range up to 110 GHz. This cost-effective development platform, opens up an entirely new application area with its high-frequency operation.
The second product was the SPECTRAN® V6 5G that has been developed to conduct measurements in the mobile radio environment. The device also supports the new 5G bands above 24 GHz such as WiGig 45 GHz (802.11aj). The profiles are now included in the latest version of RTSA Suite PRO.
This range of spectrum analyzers in the SPECTRAN Series enables customers to conduct RF and EMC measurements in real-time. The performance of the SPECTRAN V6 ECO was analyzed and well accepted at its premiere in Germany a few weeks ago. The basic version of this spectrum analyzer offers a real-time bandwidth (RTBW) of 44 MHz and an extended frequency range from 9 kHz to 6 GHz, which includes the RTSA Suite PRO for data analysis, signal and IQ data recording in real time. The analyzers are available at an entry-level price of 1,500 Euros. Depending on the extension level, the V6 ECO can achieve sweep speeds of up to 3 THz/s.
Thorsten Chmielus, Managing Director of Aaronia AG, found EMC Shanghai 2023 to be successful event. "With our USB real-time spectrum analyzers, we could set new benchmarks here in China as well. The trade visitors were enthusiastic about the performance of our SPECTRAN series. The flexibility of the solutions in combination with our analysis software RTSA-Suite PRO amazed the visitors again and again. We see the future of measurement technology in compact, modular solutions for every application."
