MegaPhase, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance RF coaxial cables and connectors for test instrumentation, defense electronics, homeland defense, and satellite communications, has developed SITELINE, a series of armored RF test cables that operate up to 50 GHz. These cables are engineered with super-rugged armor to withstand high impact when crushed, making them suitable for severe environments such as flightline, outdoor antenna testing, and demanding production lines.
The SITELINE endures “gorilla-proof” torque, twist, and crush forces better than any cable on the market, period. These cables are crush-proof to 250 lbs/linear In (.46 kg/cm) and can be used with test and measurement equipments such as FieldFox®, SiteMaster™, and Site Analyzer®.
Key Features of SITELINE Armored Test Cables
- Phase & Amplitude Stable
- Crush Proof 250 lbs/linear In (.46 kg/cm)
- Field and High Impact Production
- Armored & Rugged
- For Severe Environments
- Ideal for Flight Line Testing
The test cables are terminated with 50 ohm impedances. They can withstand a dielectric withstanding voltage of up to 10 kV (at 60 Hz) and provide a shielding effectiveness of better than -115 dB (cable only). These cables exhibit a time delay of 1.47 ns/ft and have a propagation velocity of 69%.
They are available in 1.85 mm, 2.4 mm, 2.92 mm, 3.5 mm, 7-16 DIN, BNC, SMA, TNC, and N-type connector configurations (designed using passivated 303 Stainless Steel and have undergone military screening procedures).
