Scientific Microwave Corporation (SMC) has introduced a new range of coaxial TEM single-loop couplers. They are available in three variants - the SMC-073TEM0208 operating from 2 to 8 GHz, the SMC-073TEM0204 from 2 to 4 GHz and the SMC-073TEM0102 from 1 to 2 GHz. These couplers provide a coupling of 30, 40, 50 or 60 dB with a coupling sensitivity of ±1 dB. They have a directivity of 14 dB and a VSWR of less than 1.4:1. The directivity and coupling sensitivity of these couplers can be enhanced for partial band operation.
The coaxial TEM single-loop couplers from SMC are available with different male or female coaxial connectors upon request (TNC, SC, K, N, 2.4 mm, 2.92, 3.5 mm, 1.85 mm). They are also available in pressurized and TVAC units based on the client's requirements.
