Keysight Technologies is set to highlight its latest solutions for accelerating radio frequency (RF) and millimeter wave innovations at European Microwave Week (EuMW) 2024, a premier event in the RF industry. The event will take place from September 22-27 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, marking Keysight’s 21st year as a Platinum sponsor.
EuMW 2024 will feature a wide array of Keysight’s cutting-edge solutions designed to meet the growing demands of space, defense, automotive, IoT networks, and emerging 5G and 6G applications. These solutions aim to help engineers overcome RF testing challenges by providing intelligent insights that reduce risks and accelerate time to market.
Key Highlights at EuMW 2024
- Simplified Converter Testing: Keysight will introduce the PNA-X Vector Network Analyzer, a highly configurable instrument equipped with four RF signal sources and two low-noise receivers. This tool allows engineers to efficiently characterize components with fewer instruments, making the testing process faster and more accurate.
- Sub-THz Device Analysis: The Vector Component Analyzer (VCA) will demonstrate its ability to simulate wideband modulated signals for 6G systems, providing crucial insights into device performance.
- Precision RF Field Testing: Keysight’s Spectrum Management Software (KSMS) will be on display, showcasing its capability to help network operators and regulators optimize frequency resources, detect interference, and ensure spectrum efficiency from RF to digital demodulation.
- Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) Simulation: A demonstration on simulating virtual satellite flyovers with realistic radio link conditions will show how Keysight’s tools can address NTN testing challenges, including orbit modeling in line with 3GPP standards.
- Wideband Active Load-Pull (WALP): Using a dual-channel VXG-C vector source and PNA-X network analyzer, Keysight will demonstrate its WALP capability, which is essential for designing power amplifiers for phased-array antenna systems without the need for impedance tuners.
- Wideband MIMO Prototyping: Keysight’s solutions will enable multiple-input/multiple-output (MIMO) prototyping with ultra-wide bandwidth, which is key for achieving the high data throughputs required for 6G, supporting speeds of up to hundreds of gigabits per second.
Keynote Address: Marie Hattar, Keysight’s Chief Marketing Officer, will deliver the opening address, “Everything, Everyone, Everywhere: A Decade of Connecting the World,” on Tuesday, September 24th at 10:50 AM CET in Room N01.
