Insight SiP Unveils Ultra-Compact Bluetooth 5.4 Module with Advanced Connectivity Features

Insight SiP has introduced its latest innovation in wireless technology, the ISP2454 series, a high-performance Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.4 module. This ultra-compact module, measuring just 8.0 x 8.0 x 1.0 mm, is designed to provide superior connectivity and integration capabilities for IoT devices, making it ideal for applications in Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Matter, and other wireless protocols.

The ISP2454 module is powered by the nRF54L15 chip from Nordic Semiconductor, renowned for its ultra-low power consumption and multi-protocol support. It boasts a robust set of features, including:

  • Built-in Antenna with Insight SiP's industry-leading antenna design for best-in-class performance.
  • ARM Cortex M33 processor running at 128 MHz for enhanced processing power.
  • Expanded memory with 1.5 MB NVM and 256 KB RAM, allowing more complex applications.
  • Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Matter, 802.15.4, ANT support, and NFC capabilities.
  • Extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C, suitable for challenging environments.

This module is also pin-to-pin compatible with previous Insight SiP models, such as the ISP1507, ISP1807, and ISP1907, offering an easy upgrade path for existing designs. With features like a fully integrated RF matching and antenna, dual clock integration (32 MHz & 32 kHz), and an advanced DC/DC converter, the ISP2454 is engineered for efficiency and seamless connectivity.

Designed for IoT, smart home, and industrial applications, the ISP2454 provides configurable 32 GPIOs and includes peripheral support for SPI, UART, and I2C. With an output power of +8 dBm and exceptional receiver sensitivity at -98 dBm, it ensures reliable communication, even in challenging conditions.
