Telit announced that their LTE category 1 (CAT-1) LE910-NA1 and category 4 (CAT-4) LE910-NA V2 IoT modules are available to deploy on T-Mobile’s nationwide 4G LTE network. The CAT-1 module series serves customers requiring a mid-speed, low-power, long life-cycle mobile data solution for new or existing cellular-connected devices. The LE910-NA1 delivers quad-band CAT-1 support and the LE910-NA V2 delivers quad-band CAT-4 support with network fallback for IoT applications requiring high-speed data. Both products are now available for use on T-Mobile as they continue their roll out of IoT-focused LTE commercial services in North American markets.
Both the LE910-NA1 and NA V2 conform to the xE910 form factor, their most versatile and comprehensive product family and the only in the market to include the full range of cellular technologies (GPRS, UMTS, HSPA, CDMA, EV-DO and LTE CAT-x). The new LTE products are drop-in compatible replacements for the family’s 2G and 3G models.
The availability of the LE910 CAT-1 series paves the way for developers and integrators to leverage the current LTE capabilities and streamline the evolution of their products with the benefits from emerging 3GPP M2M/IoT standards in the near future. By making them available on T-Mobile’s fast, nationwide 4G LTE network, they are helping deliver network-based solutions with cost-savings and longevity for the next generation of IoT products.
