Keysight Technologies will be demonstrating a wide range of first-to-market design, test and characterization solutions at IEEE Globecom 2016, Washington D.C., Dec. 4 to 7. IEEE GLOBECOM is one of two flagship conferences of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), and is the largest annual gathering of communications engineering professionals bringing together researchers from academia, industry and governments, technical staff and industry management from all over the world.
Keysight's technical experts will demonstrate the following products, solutions and services:
- 5G Trial System Modeling and Validation - Keysight will show the pre-5G trial specification physical layer algorithmic library integrated into SystemVue. This solution provides a modeling reference for the Verizon 5G communication system designer.
- 28 GHz Wideband Multichannel DPD - Keysight will demonstrate a system for DPD testing on a multi-channel power amplifier assembly at 28 GHz with a signal bandwidth of up to 2 GHz. This will be a key measurement requirement for active antenna systems aimed at the 5G, 28 GHz frequency spectrum.
- Wideband Millimeter-Wave Testbed - Keysight will demonstrate a wideband millimeter-wave waveform generation and analysis testbed reference solution that combines software and hardware to provide a flexible testbed with frequency coverage to 110 GHz with a maximum analysis bandwidth of up to 5 GHz.
- 802.11ad R&D and Design Verification - Keysight will show the new E7760A wideband transceiver with integrated 802.11ad mmWave signal analysis and generation software.
- NB-IoT Functional and RF Performance Test - Keysight will introduce the NB-IoT functional and RF performance test solution, which is based on the E7515A UXM, and is used by chipset and device engineers implementing the cellular IoT technology NB-IoT based on 3GPP Release 13 standards.
Satish Dhanasekaran, vice president and general manager, Wireless Test Organization, Keysight will present the keynote address titled "The Impact of New Spectrum on Design and Test", on Tuesday, December 6. This keynote will explore the impact of the new frontier of spectrum on design and technology as well as some of the emerging challenges to commercializing a mobile multiple-access network.
