The New Version of NI AWR Design Environment to be Showcased at EuMW 2017

The NI AWR Design Environment by National Instruments (NI) will be used in a variety of activities at European Microwave Week 2017 for the design of power amplifiers (PAs), filters, radar systems, and more. The EuMW will take place from October 10-12 in Nuremberg Germany.

The NI AWR Design Environment software portfolio includes RF/microwave electronic design automation (EDA) tools such as Visual System Simulator for system design, Microwave Office / Analog Office for microwave/RF circuit design, and AXIEM and Analyst for electromagnetic analysis. The software tools help design engineers to dramatically reduce development time and cost for components, circuits, systems and subsystems employed in wireless, high-speed wired, broadband, aerospace and defense, and electro-optical applications.

National Instruments (NI) Software Demonstrations at EuMW 2017:

  • What’s New in NI AWR Design Environment V13
  • Microwave Office for Microwave Monolithic Integrated Circuit (MMIC), RF Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Module Design
  • Visual System Simulator (VSS) for Wireless Communications and Radar Systems
  • Analyst and AXIEM Electromagnetic (EM) Simulators for Interconnect Analysis
  • AntSyn for Antenna Synthesis and Optimization

They will also give a number of Technical Presentations:

  • Intuitive Microwave Filter Design - Workshop presented by Dan Swanson of SW Filter Design highlighting detailed filter design examples using NI AWR Design Environment and SW Filter Design software
  • RF/Microwave PA Forum - Fourth annual forum focusing on the device technologies, characterization, modeling and end-use applications for RF and microwave Pas
  • MicroApps - Design Flow and Simulation of Multi-Technology RF Modules
  • Prof. Ricketts’ Hands-On Experience – Short course session within the European Microwave Doctoral School “Building a Modern Digital Transceiver in One Day
