High Linearity Reflective SPDT Switch for Wi-Fi, CATV, IoT and 5G Applications

BeRex, a developer of RF and microwave GaAs and SiGe semiconductor devices, has introduced a new high isolation, SPDT RF switch. The BSW7221 provides high linearity, a low insertion loss, and a very fast, 90 to 135 ns, switching time making it ideal for demanding wireless switching applications such as Wi-Fi, CATV, DOCIS 3.1, IoT and 5G.

The BSW7221 operates from 1 MHz to 6000 MHz on a single supply voltage from 2.7 - 3.6V. It is optimized for both 50 ohm and 75 ohm systems and provides a low insertion loss of 0.49 dB and a high isolation of 43 dB at 2.45 GHz. The switch is available in a 6-lead, 1.5mm x 1.5mm UDFN package, has an ESD rating of 2000V (HBM) and requires no external DC blocking capacitors.
