Guerrilla RF, a RFIC fabless semiconductor company developing solutions for the wireless infra market has announced the closing of a $3.8M Series E funding round with participation from multiple angel investors. The funding is composed of a combination of equity and debt.
Guerrilla RF expects to at least double 2018 revenue over 2017 revenues. The company expects to grow their team to 25 associates by the end of 2018 (from 21 currently).
According to Research and Markets, the overall wireless network infrastructure market will see tremendous growth over the coming years. Growing at a compound annual growth rate of over 5 percent, the market will account for over $104 billion in annual spending by the end of 2020.
Guerrilla RF provides high performance monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) to wireless original equipment manufacturers in multiple market segments, including enterprise/carrier-class WiFi access points, small cells, wireless backhaul, automotive and cellular repeaters. The company’s patented Guerrilla Armor technology enables greater coverage area and higher data rates for wireless networks.
