Google Cloud has now joined the LoRa Alliance as a Sponsor Member. The LoRa Alliance is a global association of companies backing the open LoRaWAN standard for internet of things (IoT) low-power wide-area networks (LPWANs). Google Cloud will deliver a morning keynote, titled “Accelerate IoT ROI with Data Driven Insights” during the 10th LoRa Alliance Open House, taking place in Vancouver, Canada, on June 7, 2018.
Google Cloud joining the LoRa Alliance is a clear signal that LoRaWAN connectivity is gaining strong traction for IoT. All of the data generated by connected devices will enable new insights to be derived.
