At IMS 2018, HUBER+SUHNER has introduced its PSM connector series that optimizes size and power handling characteristics for space flight, high-altitude platforms and TVAC environments.
The PSM connector family has the size and weight of an SMA (SubMiniature version A) and the power handling capabilities of a TNC (Threaded Neill–Concelman) per MIL-PRF-39012 and MIL-STD-348, enabling customers to maximize performance on power handling while minimizing overall system weight and size. This series is fully space qualified per MIL-PRF-39012 and ESCC 3402, offering multipaction breakdown and corona-withstanding meeting or exceeding TNC interface level.
The series enables customers to maximize power performance while minimizing overall system weight, size and expenditure, obtaining a cost-effective solution that surpasses the current industry standard in terms of features vs cost. The hermetic, multipaction and corona free design product portfolio includes a variety of cable connectors, flanged / panel mount connectors and adaptors; PSM/PSM, PSM/TNC and PSM/PC3.5, ensuring a compatible solution when incorporating the PSM product range in new and existing systems.
The PSM portfolio is on display at booth #1116 and is featuring connectors for mini141H, SUCOFLEX 329 and Semi-Rigid .141 cables, Flanged panel mount, surface mount connectors and adaptors within and in between series.
Alongside the PSM connector portfolio, they are also showcasing their extensive range of connectivity solutions.
