CETECOM Selects Anritsu's Test Solution For CAT-M1 and NB-IoT Chipset and Device Verification

Anritsu has announced that CETECOM has purchased its Radio Communication Analyzer MT8821C for use in the CETECOM Milpitas, CA facility. The Anritsu test solution will be integrated with an anechoic chamber via control software to conduct CAT-M1 and NB-IoT measurements on chipsets and devices to ensure they are compliant with CTIA, industry, and carrier standards.

The Radio Communication Analyzer MT8821C was selected for its repeatability of accurate measurements, ease of use, and versatile functionality in LTE testing. Another factor was its capability to verify CAT-M1 and NB-IoT products via a single test platform.

The MT8821C supports technologies ranging from LAA, 6CC, 4x4 MIMO, and other LTE-Advanced features, as well as 3G/2G with easy-to-use measurement functions for efficient RF adjustment and testing in one instrument. It can be configured in an automated test system using either GPIB or Ethernet for remote control. Operation is as simple as selecting the required test case from the RF test items in the remote control sample tool, which reduces training time and increases productivity. A built-in internal RF front-end with switches and RF dividers eliminates the need for external combiners or a test set, thus simplifying test setup and calibration. For more info, click here.
