TÜV SÜD Product Service has invested more than £400,000 in a new EMC and RF testing chamber, and will for the first time offer 24-hour testing services.
The new semi-anechoic EMC chamber has been built in addition to its eight existing chambers, significantly increasing capacity to meet the exponential market demand for a one-stop compliance service. The new 24-hour service will mean that tests can be completed quicker, allowing manufacturers to reduce testing costs and have a shorter time to market for new products.
The new chamber will offer emissions and immunity testing to worldwide compliance specifications. This will support growing demand from manufacturers to access multiple global markets simultaneously for products which integrate increasingly complex electronics and wireless components.
