Richardson RFPD, Inc. today introduces the AirPrime™ 4G LTE MiniCard (MC) Series from Sierra Wireless.
These embedded modules deliver reliable, high speed, high quality mobile broadband connectivity with a variety of advanced air interfaces and are capable of turning any mobile computing or mobile consumer device, such as netbooks, laptops and tablet computers, into a powerful communications tool. The new devices allow manufacturers to take advantage of the latest generation of high speed mobile networks, delivering up to 100Mbps download speeds and 50Mbps upload speeds, with integrated GPS capabilities and support for both Linux and Windows.
The modules are designed to work with EV-DO Rev. A, HSPA, HSPA+, and LTE networks, and are based on the PCI Express Mini Card standard, with a USB 2.0 interface.
