Emerson Network Power has announced the extension of their partnership with Newark element14. Newark element14 is already a distributor of the Johnson and Trompeter product lines and will now serve as a global distributor of the Semflex and AIM-Cambridge product lines.
Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions and Newark element14 have partnered to provide customers with unrivaled products and outstanding service, targeting design engineers. Newark element14 is the North American operating brand of Premier Farnell, plc [LSE: PFL], one of the world’s largest distributors of electronics components.
Newark is launching the Semflex product line which includes low-loss, flexible, microwave coaxial cable and custom cable assemblies for the commercial OEM, military and aerospace, and test instrumentation markets. Also to launch is the AIM-Cambridge product line which is a universal line of connectivity solutions that includes connectors for data and telecom applications as well as cables for A/V, CATV, SATV, computer and LAN applications, which also include termination tools and structured cabling products.
“We are pleased to be expanding our relationship with Newark element14, to jointly pursue new opportunities on a large scale,” said Doug Pennington, vice president of sales for Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions. “Newark element14 is a top distributor for Emerson in North America, but up to now, we have barely scratched the surface of what we can do together in the international arena. We believe this global agreement between our companies will serve to close this gap and will usher in an exciting period of International growth for both Emerson and Newark element14.”
“Newark element14 is excited to expand a strong relationship with Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions in North America,” said Jimmy Seifert, senior vice president of Supplier, Asset and Purchasing Management, Newark element14. “This partnership will also open doors for design engineers globally, as they increasingly have better access to the products they need.”
