Emerson Network Power receives the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001:2007 certification at their Chelmsford, U.K. facility. This achievement reflects on both, the business and the hard work that all employees have put into certifying this location.
“This certification recognizes the business as having a health and safety management system that meets the OHSAS 18001 standard, an internationally recognized assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems”, states Valerie Bentdahl, health and safety specialist at Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions in the U.S. “More importantly with this certification, it makes a statement about this business and the standards that Emerson Connectivity holds in regards to health and safety”, stated John Pennick, quality manager at Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions in the U.K.
A follow up audit for this standard is set for December 2013.
