Mercury Systems has received a $ 2.1 million order from a leading defense prime contractor for low-latency, multi-role digital RF memory (DRFM) modules. The modules will be used in an advanced electronic warfare (EW) training program for an Air Force platform. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2019 second quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.
According to Brian Perry, President, Mercury Defense Systems, as a market leader in high-performance EW test and training solutions, this generation of DRFMs represents the successful commercialization of the company’s leading edge platform which enables US military forces to get exposure to new adversarial electronic attack (EA) scenarios in a safe environment. Valued defense prime contractor customers thus count on Mercury to supply size, weight and power (SWaP)-optimized EW capabilities that deliver a strategic and tactical edge to US warfighters.
