HUBER+SUHNER Joins IMPI’s Solid State RF Energy Section as New Founding Member

HUBER+SUHNER, reinforcing its commitment to develop solid-state products for RF Energy applications, has now become a founding member of the International Microwave Power Institute’s (IMPI) new Solid State RF Energy Section.

With significant advantages over existing solutions, such as magnetrons, high-power Radio Frequency (RF) applications are on the cusp of transforming to solid-state RF Energy in many vertical markets – but pushing a new technology into new and existing markets also presents challenges. As part of IMPI’s Solid State RF Energy Section, HUBER+SUHNER, is dedicated to endorsing solid-state RF Energy’s true potential as a clean, highly efficient and controllable heat and power source.

Drawing on its expertise in electrical and optical connectivity, HUBER+SUHNER has become integral to the RF industry, providing a host of solutions and products that bring solid-state RF Energy into areas that were not previously possible. During IMPI’s upcoming 53rd Annual Microwave Symposium, the company will take part in a panel discussion alongside other founding members of the group, IMPI members and industry professionals. Together, they will discuss how the technology will develop and explore what the future of solid-state RF Energy is likely to hold. Huber will also have an exhibitor showcase section and, along with other members of the Solid State RF Energy Section, will contribute to the advanced-topics RF-Energy training course.

The Solid State RF Energy Section will hold its first meeting at the conclusion of IMPI’s 53rd Annual Microwave Symposium, which will take place 18-20 June at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Attendees at the symposium can find HUBER+SUHNER at the event from 18-20 June at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas. They can also be found at the Solid State RF Energy Section kick-off meeting on 21 June at the same venue.
