Custom MMIC has added two new Ka-band amplifiers and three new low noise amplifiers to its growing portfolio of RF and Microwave products.
The new introductions include two Ka-band amplifiers: The CMD242K4 (Distributed Amplifier) and CMD299K4 (Low Noise Amplifier) which operate up to 40 GHz and are packaged in a small 4x4 mm air-cavity QFN plastic package designed for surface mount applications. The new “K” series designation signifies a new high frequency plastic package being utilized by Custom MMIC for products that operate at frequencies above 20 GHz catering to aerospace, defense and instrumentation customers. The new high frequency QFN package can operate up to 45 GHz with negligible performance degradation.

The CMD242K4 and CMD299K4 are the first of many high frequency products to be packaged over the next several months. The introduction of these two new products reaffirms Custom MMICs commitment to deliver valued customers with the best performing MMIC devices in the industry.
Custom MMIC has also introduced three new Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) MMICs to its portfolio of high-performance RF and Microwave products. These LNA GaAs MMICs offer customers a broad frequency range that addresses many popular wireless applications in the Aerospace, Defense and Instrumentation markets.
