Kaelus showcased new low-PIM certified products at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain from February 24 – 27. They offered a live demonstration of the rugged, battery powered iPA-1800 Portable PIM Analyzer, with optional Range-to-Fault Technology. The iPA-1800A is a portable, battery operated PIM Analyzer from Kaelus. It supports multiple test scenarios such as testing at the top of the tower, base of tower, roof top and in-building for DAS systems. It has Spectrum monitor, frequency sweep and time trace modes. The Analyzer has a Tx Frequency of 1805-1817.5 MHz, 1855-1880 MHz and a Rx frequency of 1730-1755 MHz. It has a PIM sensitivity of <-125dBm/-168dBc typ @ 2x 43dBm carriers. The iPA-1800A comes with a 7 inch tablet computer for remote control of device.
Kaelus also introduced a high performance Small Cell DAS RF Conditioning Tray specifically designed for Small Cell deployments with various bands and technologies. It is an in-building RF source (small cell) and SISO or MIMO DAS head end.
