Modelithics Adds Additional Component Models for Keysight’s PathWave RF Synthesis Software

RF simulation expert, Modelithics, has released Version 19.7 of it's COMPLETE Library for use with Keysight’s PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys) 2020. Modelithics library is an indispensable collection of simulation models for all types of passive and active RF & Microwave devices engineered to enable designers to go from concept to product faster and easier. These models for discrete die, surface mount and packaged devices can be used by anyone involved in PCB-based RF & Microwave circuit or module design.

The latest version includes the CLR Library, a large selection of highly scalable models for capacitor, inductor, and resistor families from many popular vendors for use with Genesys new Vendor Parts Synthesis (VPS) capabilities. Also included are the NLD (Non-Linear Diode) Library, the NLT (NonLinear Transistor) Library, and the SLC (System Level Component) Library. In total, Version 19.7 adds 72 new circuit simulation models. This release is compatible with PathWave RF Synthesis (Genesys) 2020.

New scalable inductor models in the Modelithics CLR Library include models for Coilcraft and Würth Elektronik inductor families. Many new Würth Elektronik ferrite bead families are included as well. The release also features new scalable capacitor models for DLI (Knowles) capacitor families, Exxelia and Syfer (Knowles) capacitor families, and several Würth Elektronik capacitor families. In addition, new IMS & Vishay resistor families are included. Additions to the Modelithics NLD library include models for varactors from MACOM and Skyworks. Additions to the Modelithics SLC library include new models for IMS attenuators.

The Modelithics S-parameter library was updated with new models for various Mini-Circuits components, including amplifiers, splitters, filters, and transformers. Through the Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) Program, a 90-day free model use is being sponsored by Coilcraft, International Manufacturing Services (IMS), Mini-Circuits, TDK, and Würth Elektronik.
