Qorvo Announces Acquisition of Custom MMIC and DecawaveWhile presenting their 2020 Third Quarter Financial Results, Qorvo announced that they have acquired Custom MMIC and Decawave.

Custom MMIC is a leading fabless MMIC company that specializes in RF through millimeter-wave circuits for satellite communications, radar systems, cellular infrastructure, consumer electronics, VSAT, and point-to-point radio systems.

Custom MMIC's product portfolio consists of over 200 products - Amplifiers, Mixers, Phase Shifters, Switches, Multipliers and Variable Attenuators. They use various semiconductor technologies and processes and have experience with GaAs, GaN, SiC, InP, and InGaP HBT technology.

Decawave develops semiconductor solutions, software, modules and reference designs that enable real-time, ultra-accurate, ultra reliable local area micro-location services. They are headquartered in Ireland, with regional headquarters in California and China, and a presence in South Korea, France and Japan.

This announcement was made by Bob Bruggeworth, president and chief executive officer of Qorvo while presenting their 2020 Third Quarter Financial Results. He said Qorvo is looking forward to welcoming two industry-leading teams, Decawave and Custom MMIC, to the Qorvo family, expanding their technology portfolio and product offerings.
