Plextek RFI has developed a video tutorial on broadband MMIC frequency doubler design. In this video they show a design that uses a quad-diode bridge and two types of planar Marchand balun. The MMIC process is the TQP13 PHEMT process from TriQuint, and the EDA design software used is Agilent's ADS 2013.
