The PCS.46.A from Taoglas is a 4G/5G Surface-Mount Antenna that operates from 400 to 6000 MHz. It provides a peak gain of 5.6 dB with an efficiency of up to 80%. This antenna implements a unique design that uses printed circuit board material and innovative design techniques to deliver the highest efficiencies in LTE bands when mounted on the device’s main PCB. It supports 3G/2G bands to allow for fall-back when 5G/4G is not available. The antenna is suitable for lower cost 5G/4G applications and covers band 87, 88, 74, 72, and 31 as well all other 5G and 4G bands, including all sub-6GHz deployments across the 400 MHz to 6000 MHz spectrum.
The PCS.46.A can be tuned for the device environment using a matching circuit, or other techniques on the main PCB itself. It is available in a tape and reel package that measures 67.0 x 20.0 x 1.5 mm and is manufactured from high-grade FR4 PCB.
