The TGX.45.A.BI.01 from Taoglas is a Cross Polarized Omnidirectional Antenna that operates in sub-6 GHz cellular bands from 450 to 6000 MHz. It consists of two dipole antennas that are orthogonally positioned with each other to efficiently receive ±45° polarized signals that are broadcast by most base stations. This also enhances its throughput capacity to provide good efficiency and gain for 5G/4G cellular communications. The cross polarized antennas’ layout also enhances MIMO performance capabilities, thus improving signal quality.
The antenna has been developed to operate in 5G NR bands between 3300-4200 MHz, and also covers Band 31 (450 MHz) & Band 71 (617 MHz) at the lower end of the 5G/4G frequency spectrum. It is available in an IP65-rated enclosure with multiple mounting options that include wall/pole or glass mounting that can be done using suction cups from Taoglas. The TGX.45.A.BI.01 is available with a CFD-200 cable (customizable length) and an SMA Male connector. It is ideal for 4x4 MIMO applications that include gateways, routers, and wireless access points.
