The MSAS-100 from Collins Aerospace is a Digital Beamforming GPS Anti-Jamming System for military applications. It supports 24 simultaneous steered beams to provide superior jamming immunity in the most severe GPS-challenged environments. The system consists of high performance ground GPS antijam antenna electronics with an integrated, seven-element CRPA antenna. It provides simultaneous L1/L2 protection and supports Y-Code and M-Code anti-jamming. The Space Frequency Adaptive Processing (SFAP) beamforming architecture mitigates multiple broadband, partial band and narrow band jammers simultaneously.
The Multi-Sensor Antenna System (MSAS-100) and NavHub™-100 comprise of Collins’ Assured Mount, Mounted Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing System (MAPS) Gen II solution. This Anti Jam GPS system provides heightened protection levels against evolving GPS threats to support multi-domain operations and mitigate the evolving electronic threats. New benefits include Military Code (M-Code) capability and improved levels of reliability through patented Modernized Signal Tracking (MST) that enhances GPS integrity.
The MSAS-100 is available in an enclosure that measures 9 x 8 x 4 inches, requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes 34 W of power.
