The NT-8G-65G-1C from Maury Microwave is an Automated Impedance Tuner that operates from 8 to 65 GHz. This tuner has been optimized for conducting load-pull measurements at 5G FR2 frequencies with high tuning accuracy and repeatability. It offers mechanical movement which is twice as fast as its previous generation. This impedance tuner provides a matching range of 17:1. It can handle a CW input power of 10 W and has an insertion loss of 1.2 dB.
The NT-8G-65G-1C can be directly connected to the wafer probes, thereby eliminating the need for short integration cables or probe mounts. Direct wafer probing maximizes VSWR at the Device Under Test (DUT) reference plane, and minimizes phase skew at the DUT reference plane. It can be interfaced with the Mtune3 software package via a USB interface to support new tuner characterization/validation and non-harmonically-related multi-frequency impedance tuning. This impedance tuner is available in a module that measures 5.46 x 4.38 x 2.18 inches and has 1.85 mm connectors.
