The GP6436-07695 from Galtronics is a 36-Port Dual-Band Multibeam Antenna that operates from 698 – 896/1695 – 2690 MHz. It is specifically designed to provide an optimal performance for environments such as high-capacity stadiums, venues, and other special events. This ±45° dual-slant polarized antenna provides a gain of up to 21.7 dBi and has a VSWR of less than 1.5:1. It has an azimuth beamwidth of up to 19.8°, maximum elevation beamwidth of 26.9° and a front-to-back ratio of 34 dB. This antenna supports 3 beams in the lower band and 6 beams in the upper band with 4x4 MIMO capability in each beam. It can handle an input power of up to 100 W per port, provides a port-to-port isolation (interbeam/intrabeam) of more than 14 dB, and has a PIM of -153 dBc (@2x43 dBm).
The GP6436-07695 is based on a patent-pending technology that provides stable azimuth beam directional patterns over the entire operating frequency band. It offers superior performance to legacy panel-based multibeam antennas and allows deployment in use cases where lens-based solutions were once the only option. This antenna features Galtronic’s patent pending ruggedized antenna enclosure that provides added protection during the installation and re-installation processes, as typically seen in temporary multibeam deployments. It is available in an enclosure that measures 63.7 x 51.3 x 8.5 inches with 4.3-10 (female) connectors and can be deployed on cell on wheels (COWs) and cell on the light truck (COLTs) to cover the traffic density at large concerts and seasonal events.
