The ACTX-Ka100W-Ex-V3 from Acorde are Ka-Band BUCs that up-convert an input frequency from 950 – 1200 MHz to an output frequency from 27.5 – 31.0 GHz. They deliver a saturated output power of 50.0 dBm (~100 W) with a gain of more than 65 dB. These BUCs are based on a high-power GaN design to provide high efficiency in harsh environmental conditions with every single unit fully tested in an environmental chamber. They have a phase noise of -95 dBc/Hz @ 100 kHz with spurious levels less than -60 dBc. The BUCs utilize the latest technology to obtain the best power efficiency, phase noise, gain stability, and linear power according to the MIL-STD-188-164C standard.
The ACTX-Ka100W-Ex-V3 BUCs have RS232/485, Ethernet, and SNMP interfaces for monitoring and control. They are available in rack-mounted enclosures that measure 340 × 220 × 165 mm and have N-type (female) connectors and WR28 interfaces. These BUCs are ideal for use in professional and military satellite communication systems (ground, SOTP, SOTM, maritime). They require an AC supply from 85 to 265 V and consume 650 W of power.
