The ALB128 Series from Agilis is a Ku-Band VSAT Block-Up Converter (BUC) for satellite communication. The BUC upconverts an input frequency from 950 - 1700 MHz to an output frequency from 12.75 - 14.80 GHz. It delivers 8 W of output power with a gain of 64 to 72 dB.
This outdoor BUC has high output power linearity and a wide input voltage range which allows it to work from 18 to 60V. It can be used for both data and voice communication operating in different modulation formats.
The ALB128 consists of an upconverter, a solid-state power amplifier, a phase-locked oscillator, and a DC-DC power converter. It is available in a compact module that measures 282 x 140 x 98 mm with N or F-type female connectors at the input and WR-75G waveguide interface at the output. This BUC is designed for high-reliability operation in various applications such as flyaway antenna and is also suitable for broadband applications (such as DVB-RCS) in satellite IP networks.
