The ALTX-798447G-60-16 from Alga is an X-band GaN Block Up Converter that provides an output power of 50 watts. It upconverts an input frequency from 950 to 1450 MHz to an output frequency from 7.9 to 8.4 GHz. This BUC delivers a gain of more than 60 dB. It is available in a module that measures 190 x 120 x 114 mm with N-type female connectors at the input interface and WR112G waveguide at the output interface.

The ALTX-798447G-60-16 is built for VSAT stabilized platforms and mobile stations, while also offering benefits for the fixed site and offshore applications. It weighs less than 7.5l bs, making it ideal for feed mounting. The BUC has integrated Telemetry for critical parameters such as RF power detection, mute control, over temperature shutdown and summary alarm.
