The ALTX – C Series from Alga Microwave are high-power C-Band BUCs designed for use in satellite communications applications. They upconvert an input frequency from 950 - 1525 MHz to an output frequency from 5.850 – 6.425 GHz with a LO frequency of 4.90 GHz. These BUCs provide high linearity and high-power efficiency, as well as excellent thermal efficiency and dependability over the full operating temperature range. They are available in multiple saturated output power configurations from 10 W to 500 W with a gain of 70 dB. These BUCs require a 110 to 220 V AC Supply and consume up to 3600 W of power.
These BUCs are redundancy ready with 1:1 and 1:2 redundancy systems. They feature RF power detection, MTBF of over 100 K hours, supports advanced M&C interfaces, internet web page interface and has alarms for various factors like, voltage/current/temperature/summary. These light-weight and compact BUCs are available in a connectorized module with N-Type Female input connectors and a CPR 137 G interface at the output.
