The mBLC-10 from Belcom Microwaves is a C Band VSAT block upconverter that converts an input frequency from 950 - 1525 MHz to an output frequency of 5.85 - 6.425 GHz. It delivers an output power (P1dB) of more than 40 dBm with 62 dB of gain. This BUC has an IP3 of 48 dBm and phase noise of -80dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset. It is equipped with thermal protection and protection circuits that don’t let any failure occur for any combination of load reflections. The BUC is also protected against lightning and voltage transitions. It is designed to meet EN301-489-1, -12(EMC) & EN60950-1, -22(Safety) standards. This BUC requires a DC supply of +17 to 60 V and consumes less than 70 W of input power. It is available in a module that measures 218 x 176 x 72.5 mm with F-type and N-type female connectors for input and CPR-137 connectors for output. The BUC is ideal for all VSAT and SCPC applications.
