The SB50XOA from CPI is an X-band GaN Block Upconverter that is designed for use in satellite uplink applications. This BUC converts an input frequency (IF) from 950 to 1450 MHz to an RF frequency from 7.9 to 8.4 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 100 watts with a gain of over 70 dB. The device supports both AC (90 to 264 V) and DC (40 to 60) input voltage options. The BUC can be mounted directly at the antenna for maximum efficiency and comes with full-featured network and serial M&C interfaces to support monitoring and control of the BUC. The device is available in a module that measures 12.1 x 5.62 x 5.58 inches with an N-type female connector at the input and several waveguide interface options at the output.
