The LW30-797764 from Linwave Technology is a Block-Up Converter (BUC) that converts input frequencies (IF) from 950 – 1750 MHz to output frequencies (RF) from 5.85 – 6.65 GHz. It integrates Linwave’s upconverter and SSPA technologies and delivers a saturated output power of 25 W (~44 dBm) with an adjustable small signal gain of more than 60 dB. The BUC has phase noise of -91 dBc/Hz @100 kHz offset and a noise figure of less than 18 dB. It requires a DC supply of 28 V and consumes 3 A of current. This IESS 308-compliant BUC features automatic internal/external reference detection and switching and internal output protection.

The LW30-797764 includes comprehensive monitor & control and user definable options for flexible solutions to meet customer requirements. It is available in an enclosure that measures 190 x 90 x 50 mm and has SMA-female connectors. This BUC is ideal for mobile, fixed or fly-away applications. This BUC is also available with extended temperature range that can operate in harsh environment.
