The FM101-NA-20 from Fibocom is a 4G/3G Cat 6 Module that is designed for IoT applications in North America. It delivers a downlink data rate of up to 300 Mbps and an uplink data rate of up to 50 Mbps. This module supports 3GPP Release 12 standards and worldwide LTE and WCDMA coverage. It has a multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS/ Galileo/ GLONASS/ BeiDou) that provides high-performance positioning and navigation. The module requires a DC supply of 3.8 V and has VoLTE, SMS over IP (IMS) and optimized power consumption features.
The FM101-NA-20 can be controlled via IM, USB 3.0/2.0, PCIe 2.0, PCM/I2S and UART interfaces. It is available in an M.2 package that measures 30.0 x 42.0 x 2.2 mm and is ideal for industrial IoT, smart cities, C-V2X and other eMBB applications.
