The MA510-GL from Fibocom is an IoT Module that is designed for the global IoT market. It is based on the Qualcomm platform and supports LTE Cat-M1/Cat-NB2/EGPRS. This module has built-in GNSS that supports GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo constellations. It has an integrated QTT/CoAP/LWM2M rich network protocol and supports eDRX and PSM low power mode limiting current consumption to as low as 3.2 µA (PSM). The module delivers a downlink data rate of up to 375 Kbps and an uplink data rate of up to 1119 Kbps with a Tx power of up to 32.5 dBm.
The MA510-GL requires a DC supply from 3.3 to 4.5 V and can be controlled via UART, USB, SPI, ADC, GPIO, I2C, and I2S interfaces. It is available in an LCC+LGA package that measures 22.2 x 20.2 x 2.1 mm and is ideal for IoT applications with low power consumption and ultra-small size, such as smart meters, smart parking, wearable devices, asset tracking, smart city, etc.
