The MC610-EU from Fibocom is an LTE Cat1 bis Module that covers LTE FDD/TDD, GSM, and GPRS bands. It delivers an uplink data rate of up to 10 Mbps and a downlink data rate of up to 5 Mbps. This module supports VoLTE, audio, recording, SMS, Wi-Fi scan, BLE, and other functions. It supports MO/MT text and PDU modes for SMS and is compatible with Fibocom’s MA510 module to meet the requirements of Cat1 and CatM products. The module requires a DC supply of 3.8 V.
The MC610-EU provides Tx power of up to 33 dBm and has an Rx sensitivity of -108.5 dBm. It can be controlled via USIM, USB 2.0, UART, I2C, SPI and ADC interfaces. This module is available in an LCC+LGA package that measures 24.2 x 26.2 x 2.1 mm and is ideal for medium-rate IoT markets such as universal payment, sharing, industrial interconnection, tracking, vehicle-mounted rear installation, and other applications.
