The SLM770A from MeiG Smart is an LTE Cat 4 Module designed to ensure compatibility with the existing 2G and 3G network infrastructure. This module covers LTE-FDD/TDD, WCDMA, EDGE GPRS, and GSM networks to support multiple users with different use cases and can provide network communication even in remote areas. It supports diversity reception and MIMO technology to optimize the speed of data transmission and improve communication quality. This module allows users to perform dialing with TCP, UDP, DTSL, ECM, NCM, PPP, and HTTP(s) and built-in network protocols and also utilizes voice coding techniques such as HR, FR, EFR, and AMR-WB.
The SLM770A is developed based on the ASR1803 platform and is compatible with SLM 750, SLM 790, and SLM 320 modules and provides strong versatility and quick accessibility to networks. It delivers an output power of 33 dBm (Tx side) and a data rate of 75 Mbps (downlink) and 50 Mbps (uplink). This module requires a DC supply from 3.3 to 4.2 V and consumes 30 mA (free mode) and 3 mA (sleep mode) of current. It is equipped with a rich set of interfaces such as UART, PCM, and SDIO to remotely configure and upgrade the device via Windows series, Linux 2.6 or above, or Android 4.0 or above OS.
The SLM770A is available in an LCC + LGA package that measures 32.0 x 29.0 x 2.4 mm and is ideal for vehicle DVR, security monitoring, and industrial routing applications.
