The LBAD0XX1SC-151 from Murata is an LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT Module that has been engineered to meet the industry requirements with features that prioritize very small size and low power consumption. It complies with 3GPP Release 13 standards (Release 14 for software upgrade) and supports both LTE Cat M1 and LTE NB1 technologies in a compact package, making it suitable for applications where space is limited. This cellular IoT module consists of Altair’s ALT1250 transceiver, a front-end module (FEM), an integrated 26 MHz TCXO, a 32 kHz X’Tal, and external flash memory. It ensures low thermal drift characteristics with the TCXO to provide an accurate clock for the transceiver. 

On the Tx path, this module delivers an output power of up to +23 dBm (optimized for Class 3 LTE output power). It has a user-friendly AT command interface to enable easy integration and has undergone rigorous software validation to ensure bug-free performance. This LTE Cat M1/NB-IoT module can be controlled using UART interface. It requires a DC supply from 2.85 to 4.35 V and consumes 43 µA (eDRX mode) and 1.4 µA (PSM mode) of current. This module is available in a resin-mold land grid array (LGA) package that measures 11.1 x 11.4 x 1.5 mm.
