The Type 1WG (LBAD00XX1WG) from Murata is a Cat M1/NB-IoT Module that supports LTE low and mid bands. It is based on the Altair ALT1250 chipset and has an integrated 26 MHz (TCXO) and 32 KHz (X’Tal) system clock. This module meets the certification standards in Japan and supports GPS/GNSS, OpenMCU, Integrated SIM & NIDD (for SoftBank) for NB-IoT. It requires a DC supply from 2.85 to 4.35 V and supports 3GPP eDRX and PSM modes, enabling a battery life of up to 10 years. This module is available in an LGA package that measures 12.2 x 12.0 x 1.6 mm and has an antenna interface. It can be controlled via a UART interface and is ideal for small, battery-operated IoT devices, smart metering, wearables, tracking, M2M, Internet of Things (IoT) edge nodes and industrial applications.
