The QCX216 from Qualcomm is an LTE IoT Modem that operates from 700 MHz to 2.6 GHz. It delivers a peak download data rate of 10 Mbps and a peak upload data rate of 5 Mbps. This modem is based on a 204 MHz Arm Cortex Dual core M3 CPU and has an integrated LTE modem and RF transceiver. It is Global LTE Cat1.bis IoT-optimized and compliant with 3GPP Release 14 LTE specifications. This modem supports dual SIM or eSIM and has a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi receiver for indoor position location with Wi-Fi scanning capability using a shared RX with LTE.
