The SG560D Series from Quectel are Sub-6 GHz Multi-mode 5G Smart Modules that provide worldwide coverage for 5G/4G/3G/2G. They are based on 3GPP Rel-15 technology and support both 5G NSA and SA architectures. These modules are based on QCM6490 high-performance 64-bit octa-core processors and have a built-in Adreno 643 GPU, 4 GB LPDDR4X memory, and 64 GB UFS storage. They support Wi-Fi 6E & DBS, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi 2x2 MU-MIMO, and Bluetooth 5.2. The modules also support 5G & LTE multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) technology and 4K H.265/H.264 video encode and decode. They use multiple antennas at the receiver end at the same time and on the same frequency band to greatly minimize errors and optimize the data speed.
The SG560D Series modules combine high-speed wireless connectivity with an embedded multi-constellation and high-sensitivity GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, NavIC, Galileo, QZSS, SBAS) receiver for positioning. They deliver a downlink data rate of 2.5 Gbps and an uplink data rate of 900 Mbps. These modules have built-in Android 12 OS and are available in four variants: SG560D-CE (China), SG560D-EM (EMEA), SG560D-NA?(North America) and SG560D-WF (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth only). They require a DC supply of 4 V and can be controlled via?LCM, camera, touch panel, PCIe, SPI, UART, USB, I2C, and I2S interfaces.
These modules are available in LGA packages that measure 56.5 x 42.5 x 2.95 mm and are ideal for industrial, consumer, and M2M applications including smart gateways, CPE, MiFi, MID, PND, POS, routers, multimedia terminals, smartphones, digital signage, industrial PDAs, etc.
