The A7682E from SIMCom is an LTE Cat 1 Module that supports wireless communication modes of LTE-FDD/GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It has a downlink data rate of up to 10 Mbps and an uplink data rate of up to 5 Mbps. The module is compatible with SIM800C, SIM868 Series (GSM/GPRS modules), which enables smooth migration from 2G products to LTE products. It requires a supply voltage of 3.8 V.
The A7682E has UART, USB, I2C, GPIO interfaces and supports firmware update via USB/FOTA. It supports drivers for main operation systems (USB driver for Windows, Linux, and Android etc.) and software function. The module is available in a package with an LCC+LGA form factor that measures 19.6 x 19.6 x 2.5 mm and is suitable for IoT applications such as telematics, surveillance devices, industrial routers, and remote diagnostics.
