The SIM8380G-M2 from SIMCom is a 5G/LTE Cellular Module that operates in the Sub-6 GHz and mmWave frequency bands. It supports 3GPP Rel-16 5G NSA/SA architectures, delivers a downlink data rate of up to 7 Gbps, and an uplink data rate of up to 3 Gbps. This module supports 5G sub-6G, 5G mmWave, LTE-FDD, LTE-TDD, and WCDMA frequency bands along with GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and QZSS GNSS constellations. It requires a DC supply from 3.135 to 4.4 V and has PCIe, USB 3.1, and GPIO interfaces. This module is available in an M.2 package that measures 52.0 x 30.0 x 2.3 mm and is ideal for high throughput data communication in a variety of radio propagation applications.
